Future homes Standard consultation extended

The deadline for responding to the Future Homes Standard consultation (the Part L/F of the Building Regulations) has been extended from 10 Jan to 07 Feb next year. The link is as shown below.

The background to the extension relates to MHCLG recognising that there were “some functional issues with the cSAP software linked to the Future Homes Standard consultation (launched October 2019) may have caused problems for colleagues who wished to respond early to the consultation. The issues were resolved last month and a notice explaining the functional improvement has been posted on the BRE website. In order to allow respondents a fuller opportunity to respond to the consultation, we are extending the closing date for responses to 11.45pm on Friday, 7 February 2020.”
